General Instructions for IBPS RRB Exam 2013|


Someone willing to get a job in the PSUs can get the same through IBPS (Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection).  A job in a PSU has always been considered to be a very prestigious in the job market, and IBPS acts as a medium to secure the same. The grandeur of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been continuing ever since the last 40 years.  It is a banking examination which is held in intervals, throughout the year. The institute also conducts the exam to recruit rural people, which are popularly known as the IBPS RRB Exam.
The IBPS RRB Exam is specialized to recruit for the regional rural banks however qualifying the same becomes a tough job for the candidates as it has certain set procedures for clearance. The exam is usually held in October as for 2013 the dates are 5th October, 6th October, 27th October and 28th October. This will be a written exam which will be provided to the candidates in an online format.  The candidates should keep certain basic instructions before coming for the exam. They are as follows:
Noting the particulars: The candidates should be aware of their roll number, centre code its location and other basic information before going to sit IBPS RRB Exam 2013. Above all every candidate should be aware of the fact the call letter is not an intimation of the job offered by the government. It is just a get pass for appearing in the exam.
Punctuality: The candidates should be aware of the IBPS RRB exam time and they are expected to enter into the exam hall before the stipulated time. Any delay may cause severe penalty for them which might be to the extent of not allowing the candidates to sit for the exam.
Call letter and identity proof: Every candidate has to carry his / her call letter affixed with a photograph to the exam centre. For further verifications they also have to carry any of their photo identity proofs along with the photocopy to the centre. The identity proof can be the PAN Card, Voter identity card, Aadhar card or passport. They have to write their roll number and the registration number on the backside of the photo identity proof. Candidate failing to carry the above said documents are not permitted to sit for the exam.
Follow up of the instructions: There will be exam coordinators or invigilators in the exam hall, whose instructions are expected to be followed by the candidates. Any violation of the rules can disqualify the student and he might be asked to leave the exam hall.
Rough work in a separate sheet of paper: No rough work should be done on the main answer script. If required the examinee can ask for an additional sheet of paper to use it for his rough calculations. At the end of the RRB exam, the extra sheet has to be submitted to the invigilator along with the original answer book.
After the successful completion of this written exam, candidates are listed as per their merit order.
